  • Do we have a physical location?
    Yes, we have a small greenhouse in Chicago at 7101 N Glenwood Ave. We are open Sunday 1 pm to 4 pm.
  • Can I come in other day than Sunday?
    Yes, please reach out for an appointment either on instagram or by email at eve.reichmann@bigshouldersnursery.com to make an appointment.
  • Where can I ask my questions?
    Please send an email to eve.reichmann@bigshouldersnursery.com for any unanswered questions.
  • Why does my plant look different than the website?
    We use stock photograph and we try to get the best representation as possible but plants my vary from stock images.
  • Should I repot my plant when it arrives?
    We recommend letting your plant rest after it ships. Shipping is stressful to plants and repotting right away can cause more stress to plants. We recommend 2 weeks before repotting.
  • Can I pick out my plant in person?
    Yes, you can select "Local Plant Shop Pickup" option and if we have multiple specimens available you can hand select your plant!
  • Do you provide plant support?
    Yes! Please reach out on instagram, facebook, or email at eve.reichmann@bigshouldersnursery.com for any plant related questions no matter how long ago your plant purchase was.
  • My plant arrived damaged?
    Please take pictures of the box and plant and email eve.reichmann@bigshouldersnursery.com within 24 hours of the box arrivals. We will work with you to resolve the situation. Please review the Returns & Refunds policy.
  • Do you ship outside of the USA?
    Currently we only ship within the United States and Porto Rico.
  • How do we calculate shipping?
    Shipping is calculated off of weight.
  • When do we ship?
    All shipments go out on Monday every week.
  • Do you do cold/hot weather holds?
    Yes, we do extreme weather holds. Please reach out before Monday.
